HARRISBURG, Pa., March 30, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — With spring’s arrival, many Pennsylvanians soon will be spending more time outdoors and seeing more wildlife – and signs of wildlife – in their yards and other places they frequent. Pennsylvania Game Commission officials remind residents that among the wildlife that will become more visible are Pennsylvania’s black bears, all of which will be looking for food.

Despite a record bear harvest last year reducing bear densities in some communities, homeowners living in bear country certainly will encounter nuisance bear activity unless they take steps now to remove items that will attract bears to their properties.
